If the front pads are still good, then just have the front rotors turned and put them back on. BAM, done. Only replace the pads IF they are worn down enough to need replacement. I had been doing brakes for a dealership for 23 years until I retired and that's the simplest and cheapest way. Doing it yourself will cost anywhere from $20 to $50 to have the rotors turned at any parts store or repair shop. Pads would cost more. BUT, always buy the medium priced pads if needed. The cheap ones don't last long and the expensive, long lasting ones wear out the rotors quicker.

IT may ONLY be bad tire balncing but I would also suggest that your TIE RODS may be worn out as well! SHAKES while braking can also mean sticking calipers with WARPED ROTORS as well! Only an inspection wll prove any of these things1 BYE NOW!

No, just take your rotors somewhere that can resurface them. Some auto parts stores will do it. Then take a piece of sandpaper and lay it on a flat surface and run the pads across it to get rid of the glazing.

Sounds like your brake rotors are warped so yes, you'll need all 4 brakes done. Figure 500-600 bucks.

Usually it's just the front brake pads and rotors that need to be replaced when you have shaking when applying the brakes. i don't know the mileage on your vehicle so you may need rear brakes too. Buy premium brake pads! You can get front premium Platinum series brake pads and rotors for a good price at Advance Auto. Most mechanics will install them for $100.

Crash into something, because the brakes didn't work, and see how expensive that is. Lol.
