Why does neighbor s car alarm go off several times everyday?

A hood switch for the alarm may be causing the problem. When wind blows through the radiator it lifts the hood slightly and if the hood switch is not adjusted tight enough to the hood it will trigger the alarm.

The hood latch should also be adjusted tighter.

Someone could be bumping the alarm button on a remote, by accident.

The most common reason is the gain set too high on the glass breakage sensor.

Too sensitive.

Earthquakes, child playing with keys, actual break ins.

I've sometimes seen a door switch get marginal, and cause momentary faults. That's not enough to drain the battery with the dome light, but will trigger the alarm. It might be hard to find, but it's an easy fix, once you find it.

Maybe it's some animal or something.

It's faulty? Oversensitive? They often go off when they shouldn't and if they are moaning about it when you aren't doing anything to set it off then tell them to shut up and get a new alarm.
