England won’t get a chance as good as fbis ever again.?

By 2022, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Holland will all be back with better and younger squads.

I also feel like Colombia, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Mexico and Chile will all have better squads.

And France, Brazil, Belgium, Croatia and Uruguay will be back with teams just as strong, if not stronger.

And England won’t be as lucky to face weaker teams as they were in this tournament.

Don’t get me wrong, are team has and will keep improving.

But, I feel like we’ll make the Quaters or the 2022 WC at most.

We were so lucky that so many good teams went out so early, and that we didn’t have to face any good teams (until Croatia) in the knockout stage.

You can't predict or control what other teams do or how the draw will pan out. England's only focus is to keep improving. Even a great team can bomb in a tournament, Germany were sensational in qualifying, max points and 43 goals. Any of those teams you mention might have WORSE squads, or simply have a bad tournament.

Yeah England can easily be beaten. Have a good midfield and you should beat them

yeah this was probably the easiest route they will ever get to a final. imo Belgium were the only team that on their day are 100% better than us; realistically we should've beat Croatia.

hopefully we will be stronger in 5 years, we have a young team who were inexperienced in such major tournaments and players like Kane and Sterling didn't always perform when we needed them to.

but by 2022 many of our young players will have developed, I think players like Reece Oxford, Jadon Sancho and Ryan Sessegnon will be able to make the step up to international level and could possibly become world class players.

I don't agree with you on your assessment of Argentina and Portugal by 2022. If anything I wouldn't be shocked if those two nations end up not qualifying. Netherlands they're improving very slowly but I think they'll clinch the qualification barely. Of the ones you mentioned, Italy is the one that will be most improved and will probably have a strong showing but of course all that depends on the luck of the draw. Uruguay I think will be the team to watch from South America. Brazil has been a disappointment after disappointment plus I don't think Neymar is that great. I always said he was overrated all he seems to be good for is squirming on the floor like a wounded duck. By 2022, Neymar will be old and that will probably be his last World Cup. Poland always seems to have a strong team until the World Cup starts and suddenly they become a lower tier team as if a flip got switched. Belgium will most likely have as strong a showing as they had this World Cup. But a lot can change from now till then.

Nah, said the same thing. That was England's chance. The idea that it's the start of something is a massive myth. Plus, teams don't always improve tournament on tournament - it's far more complex than that.

Qatar will be played in the Winter. So it’s anybody’s guess.
