Why do Drivers STILL NOT Know How to Pull up to the White Line at a Stop Light? Are you just ALL Stupid?

Because some windshield / roof-lines are so slanted drivers need to stop behind the white line to be able to SEE the stop light. It's a good practice to stop short anyway so a car or truck has lots of space to turn left from the right or left in front of the driver. It's a safety factor as there is no law that says a driver MUST toe the white line while stopped.

No law stating that you have to. I hold short of the white line in case someone cuts the corner. A little something I picked up on when I was almost hit once while riding motorcycles. That would have hurt.

Poor baby! You are crying that people don't follow the laws?
HOT CLUE! The COPS don't follow the law on stop signs.
We are not "Stupid." You are "Stupid" if you expect anyone to follow the law.

White line troll strikes again. You need a girlfriend. Join the Marines and serve a combat deployment in Afghanistan. You will not see white lines for one year.

This is the fourth time you have posted this rant. You are not looking for knowledge from us; you want us to agree with your hot-headed view.

While there clearly is a point at which a person has stopped behind the white line, how close one has to be to the white stop line is not clearly defined by law and is purely judgmental. I for one choose to stop at a point where my front fender is clearly behind that line. Some might think I should be a foot closer- but that is their problem! I am driving my car and not them. I also realize I am not able to drive some one else's car and try not to let them get to me.

I see drivers regularly do far dumber things than that on a daily basis like not paying attention and almost driving off the road / into oncoming traffic, riding the left lane, running red lights and going straight in a left turn only lane. There is no shortage of stupid drivers.
Personally I am rooting for self driving cars and an extremely difficult test for the remaining drivers of non-autonomous cars.
