What's your favorite birthday control? I'm on the pill thinking of switching to copper IUD as the non hormonal option. What do you use?

Any annoying side effects?

    I don’t like the copper IUD, as it is much less forgiving when inserting/removing, and over time it has been known to cause issues in the uterus, like implantation and pain. I got the Mirena one, which is progesterone only at low dose, due to my endometriosis. I have to have the hormones to slow the growth of the endo. Have had it for just over a month now, and things have been great.

    But talk to your OBGYN. Do your own research. Based off your medical history and what you want out of this, the doctor can make suggestions that will be right for you, and then you can pick one.
