This is the sentence I'm working on...
I'm looking for an adjective that would describe a look where the person giving the look:
Wants to talk about something to the other character that they've talked about before but she can't say anything because there is a third person in the room.

There are many possibilities, but you might consider "inviting" or "beckoning" as two to capture the idea you've expressed. If "inviting" is chosen, the article should be "an", not "a".
