As pilhas recarregáveis devem ser armazenadas com ou sem carga?

Tenho pilhas recarregáveis de diversos tipos e tamanhos. O problema é que há momentos em que uso elas continuamente, em outros ela fica parada por semanas!

No momento de serem armazenadas, elas devem estar COM ou SEM carga?

Agradeço desde já pela resposta!

    Acho que de preferência as pilhas devem ser armazenadas sem carga.
