If US congress passed disallowing dual citizenship would that reduce the demand for immigration citizenship into the US?

Update:

BROTHER HESEKIEL

They absolutely could pass such a law. Where in the US constitution does it prohibit congress from passing such a law?

    Not significantly.

Congress cannot pass such a law, as it would discriminate against people from countries that cannot get rid of their original citizenship, i.e., Iran, or Colombia. US Congress has no influence on foreign countries' policies and laws.

No. First, it couldn't be done. It would not make it past the courts but if it could be done, it would cause a lot of people to renounce their US citizenship.

Again, illegals are not after citizenship. They are after money..
