    Those are German soldiers in WWII. They used a very similar helmet in WW1 but I think this is the WW2 helmet. (It was called a 'coal-scuttle helmet' because it looks like the bucket people used to use to hold coal for the fireplace.)

    Besides Germany, Finland, Boliva, Chile, Argentina, China, at a minimum all used some variant of the Stahlhelm.

    The helmet markings indicate German, of the Third Reich era.
