Yellow is the brightest color in the spectrum to human vision. Buses are not built with seat belts, so that's why they don't have them.

They are painted yellow to make them easy to see so that drivers notice them and don't hit them or run over children.

They don't have seat belts for the same reason as a chair in your house or school doesn't: because you aren't in a place dangerous enough to need them, such as a car or an airplane. Trains and school buses, even without seat belts, are much safer than a car, even with seat belts,

Yellow for visibility, no seat belts due to cost.

Yellow to see the bus better.

No seat belts cause it's a waste of money because kids will not use them, slows down students, can be used as weapons and if things hit the fan you gotta get out quickly.

    Yellow for visibility

No seat belts because it slows down passengers getting seated
