Ltl Acorn wildlife camera issue with navigating through menu?

I have a ltl acorn 6210mc wildlife camera and after changing the batteries last week, the menu has now become glitchy. None of the buttons seem to do what they're supposed to do, and so I can't change any of the settings. It is currently set to take just photos but it won't let me scroll down to see how frequently they are taken. When setting up the camera, it takes one photo when triggered and it doesn't take any photos after that. I have attempted a firmware upgrade, changed the sd card and plugged it into the mains socket without the batteries. The menu remains to glitch and basically has a mind of its own. Any explanations/possible fixes would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much

Indeed you seem to have done most things. Time now to put the camera physically into the hands of a competent repair person. If the camera is new, get it replaced.

Sounds like you've already done everything that one could do. It's now time to send the camera in for repairs or take it back to the store where you purchased it and exchange it.
