Last Northern Hemisphere winter was the worst in 50 years, the current Southern Hemisphere winter is experiencing harsh conditions. Both Polar Ice caps are expanding, sunspots and solar irradiance are at 150 year lows, the Sun's magnetosphere has decreased allowing more Galactic Cosmic rays to penetrate the Earth's atmosphere causing the albedo to increase because of more cloud cover the oceans are cooling, etc.

Humans have no control over the Earth's climate. The Sun and natural variances rule.
