To those who believe in the sinlessness of Mary from conception 'till death.?
Was it easier for Mary to remain sinless than it is for us because she was immaculately conceived and we weren't?
Either I can't write English or none of you can understand it. I addressed the question to those who believe in the lifelong sinlessness of Mary. I am aware that many people think she sinned. She was conceived the same way I was; her parents had sex. "Immaculate Conception" is the name of the belief that Mary was conceived without original sin. If Mary was conceived without original sin, was it easier for her to remain sinless than for those of us who were conceived with original sin?

You are misinformed. 'Mary found favor with God'. But she was not sinless. She was also not immaculately conceived. Jesus was.
Like David, Moses, Abraham, Noah and Daniel before her, she was a flawed human being who had a heart for God and was willing to cooperate with Him to accomplish His purposes.

There is nothing in the Bible that tells us that Mary was sinless. Jesus was sinless because his Father was Jehovah. From conception Jesus was sinless and continued that way until he died on the torture stake. That is why he could be our ransomer, that will end sin and death brought on to us by Adam. (Romans 5:8-11 and 18) Because of the ransom (Jesus' sacrificial death) we who "exercise faith in Jesus" look forward to "everlasting life" on a paradise earth. (John 3:16) Why not read for yourself the account about Mary and what the angel told her concerning her pregnancy with Jesus and her prayer to God concerning her blessing. (Luke 1:28-56) It is so sad that, although 98% of all households have a Bible, very very few people open its pages to learn what its message for mankind is. Those who think they know it all, show their ignorance, even on this site which is supposed to be a spiritually religious site. The Bible tells us the truth when it says at Matthew 24:37: "For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking......until the day that Noah (and his family) entered into the ark, and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be." There is still time before "the great tribulation" comes for people to repent and study the guide book given to humans, the Bible. Revelation 7:9-14 I invite you to look into the Bible from; the international website, jw.org and Bible Teachings > Bible Questions Answered. If you believe what you learned, you can request your free personal Bible study online or from the next witness who knocks on your door or by visiting your neighborhood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is never a collection taken and all are welcome.

The same reason they promote the 'sinlessness' of Jesus. It sells better than understanding that Jesus and Mary were actually people and not divine in some way.

That would be the Catholics. And they had the right idea.
We Eastern Orthodox Christians believe that Mary was purified after she agreed to be the mother of the Christ Child, who would *not* be coming to earth in a sinful vessel. As for her remaining sinless -- so God could be the author of ALL creation but couldn't keep one of his creatures without sin?

Mary was not sinless........ she was a fallible as any other mortal...... she was however.... most faithful to God and in striving to follow his instructions.... Mary was not "immaculately conceived".......... Mary was not a perpetual virgin either.... she had other children with Joseph after Jesus was born.......

Yeah, I'll go with that. The Immaculate Conception is the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary free from original sin by virtue of the merits of her son Jesus Christ. The Church teaches that God acted upon Mary in the first moment of her conception keeping her "immaculate".

Mary wasn’t sinless, only Catholics give Mary such high praise...she’s just Jesus’ mother who gave birth to him while being a virgin..after that she has children and lived a normal life like everyone else
