If liberals want to ban plastic utensils what are people supposed to eat with at fast food places?

Wooden cutlery and biodegradable cutlery made out of corn starch are already available.

Are you really claiming that you believe it is beyond the capability of mankind to produce a non polluting alternative to plastic cutlery?

Over a century ago people would carry their own silverware around with them in a wood box. I guess liberals expect us to go back to that, using a camping set or maybe a very good Swiss Army knife.

Lol. Finger foods don't require utensils. Plastic utensils aren't the problem in themselves, necessarily. It's the sheer volume of garbage that cannot or won't be recycled. Nobody wants garbage in their area- landfills are smelly and huge. Recyclers only want "high quality" trash. So what to do with it all. Driving around, I see plastic bags stuck in trees and blowing around parking lots. Litter all over the roadside. People know better. The amount of refuse is choking the environment. And think of how much money is spent by manufacturers on these disposable containers, and the cost is either passed on to customers or never recouped. We need to reduce our garbage. It truly is a waste of resources. Plastic creates toxic pollution in its manufacture. Good paying American union jobs in glass and paper industries were lost to plastics. And plastic leeching into food poses a danger to health, according to some medical research.

Metal flatware. The restaurants can wash them after use.
