When will my belly button pericing hole close?

I had my belly button piercing done about a year and a half ago and I just I removed it, however it did completely heal... will the hole still close or will I have a hole above my belly button Permanently?

    It will eventually close up. It should close up pretty quickly too. If you want to keep this piercing, get some jewelry in it. If you don't want this piercing anymore, just leave it alone and your body will eventually close it up.
