Why didn't all that education liberals supposedly have teach them that you cannot win a Presidential election because you are popular?
I mean I knew that in 4th grade

I think there is a case to be made to use the popular vote to elect a POTUS but that does not mean that I disagree with the Electoral College system.
As long as you make that decision prior to the election then I don't see the problem. Trying to apply it after the election has been fought using different rules is just stupid.
Maybe if people had played more sports they would start to see how it works. For instance, if you play tennis, you can win most of the points and/or most of the games but still lose the match. You just need to understand the rules first then play to them.

Then what’s the point of having an election? Sure it doesn’t say anywhere in the constitution that whoever wins the popular vote is the winner of the election, but the constitution is for the people of the US! There is literally 0 point of voting and having debates and an election if the government is just going to do the voting for us! And it’s BS that they say the electoral college listens to the people and gives their vote im favor of who their state votes for because then the popular vote would still win. You tell me what good voting does at all of the gov is going to just put whoever they want anyway. Since this is the case were not a Democracy, were a kingdom under rule by a king and his royal subjects.

Yes, that is true. But to completely discount the popular vote discounts the majority of the election process. Including campaigning, the primaries, the midterms...popularity does matter quite a bit.
I am over 2016 and am happy it’s over. Most liberals I see on this site don’t bring up 2016 or Hillary Clinton. The (supposed) blue wave? Yes. But Hillary is far in the past.

Liberals are Popular, and because they're popular they cannot win a presidential election?
Grammar Police on Patrol ;p
Source(s): Though, most elections are strongly about popularity rather than the political stances of the candidate. I think you're talking about the popular vote but you failed to specify that. - Anonymous3 years ago
Yeah. Lol. That's why candidates campaign. To make people hate them
