Is anything truly impossible?

It seems that what we deem impossible now can eventually be made possible. So can we have an absolute zero chance of something happening? In fact if you know of an article that proves or disproves this assumption I would love to read it.

    Yes. It's impossible for 2+2=5.

It is too hard to stand on your tip-toes to bend over and touch the floor.

Let's use a statement (as defined in logic):

"You cannot find something that is impossible"

If the statement were false, all you would need is to find one case of something that is impossible.

If the statement were true, then "finding something impossible" would be impossible... thus making the statement false.

Therefore, the statement must be false, even if we do not know what that impossible something is.

It is impossible for a true paradox to occur.

Its impossible to violate any law of physics. But we don't know for sure what those laws are.

Lots of things in math are impossible: Finding the largest prime number, finding the last digit of pi, trisecting an angle, dividing by zero, ....
