African Americans are over-represented in your nation's armed forces because they are over-represented among the poorest sections of your society.

Whatever way it is written, it makes no sense. There are (officially) no African "slaves" anywhere in the world today, and have not been for many a long year.
Find a good native speaker of English to help you write your question in a way in which it can be understood.
