Why do millenials like rap and hip hop so much?

Kids are rebellious and immature I used to listen to a lot of rap music but I don’t anymore now I listen to Christian rap.

I’m a millennial and I hate rap and hip hop.

I grew up loving the Jackson 5, Osmond's, Carpenters and I enjoy rap very much. I sat on a plane next to Warren 5, Dr. Dre's brother and I was introduced to hip hop. I've been educated on hip hop. As well as the culture : ))

Because it is music and people like music. It is new and a part of their time.

Because It's there era

It is because there is so much variety more than ever now..

Kids will like whatever their parents don't like !!!

Millenials are not the only people who like rap and Hip Hop.

A lot of people like it and are born different decades.

People like me who were born in the 1990s also like it.Not all do.Most of my friends do.

Depending on the decade someone is born can very well influence what kind of Rap they listen to.

Varies people from different decades.

Trends.

I like to think of people as individuals rather than grouping them. Hip hop has been around forever, popular since the late 80s. Many people, like myself, like rap for the beat, the talent, the vibe.

Doesn't mean it's the only thing I listen to. I like rock as well.
