    1) I try to be aware of what I am thinking and to focus on positive and uplifting thoughts.

    2) I try to live one day at a time. So I ask myself, what do I need to accomplish between now and bedtime. Usually, what I have control over in that moment is manageable.

    3) I try to remember that worry accomplishes nothing. The Dali lama said, "If it is not going to happen, it does no good to worry; if it is going to happen, worry does no good.

    4) Exercise helps tremendously, to burn off stress hormones.

    5) I try to identify what it is that is causing me stress, if I can deal with it and complete it, the stress will go away with completion of the task.

    6) Meditation is a wonderful stress reliever, read: "The Relaxation Response".
