Would my dog protect me or really just stand there if the attack was real?

I have a dark brown male pitbull who is 3 years old. Me and my friend was wondering if he would save me from an attack. My friend has not met my dog yet. He made these fake testicles that looked very real and we made this plan to see if he would save me. I walked my dog to the meeting point where somone would be hiding and filming and my friend attacking me. My friend had all this protection stuff under his clothes. My friend protended to be an attacker and grabbed me by the fake testicles and crushed them. I was protending to be in agony so i was screaming real loud. The dog was just standing there watching. This went on for about a minute. We watched the video and it looked so real. The testicles burst and all this stuff ozzed out. The dog was just standing there and about 30 secs later when they burst he just stood back and carried on standing there. If this was real would he save me or actully just stand there?

    For the seventh time -

Right, another attack where your testicles were ripped off.

Just because I'd like a pair, where do you buy fake testicles.

It is very unusual for an attacking dog to go for the testicles. I have a large GSD, and she went for my attacker's throat.

Most dogs go not have an instinct to protect, they need to be trained to do so. And if a dog has been trained, they cannot differentiate between an actual and a fake attack. They would react in accordance with how they have been trained.

They're not movie dogs like Lassie. Unless your dog was trained for protection, don't expect it to do anything extreme like that.

Your dog will protect you in a real situation but they aren't as easily fooled as you seem to believe .
