Why hasn't Sen Grassley issued a subpoena for Christine Ford to testify before his committee yet?

Because he knows she will refuse.

That would probably delay the process beyond next week.

Now THAT would be an interesting development and may be necessitated by the current antics. I'm not sure this is do-able.

That would be giving her too much credibility.

On what grounds should she be subpoenaed? Really. You need to think about that.

Note if she appears before the Committee - by invitation or subpoena - then she will be placed under oath. it is a blatantly false complaint and is strictly a delaying tactic manufactured by the Left. The LAST thing she and the Left want is for her to testify under oath since anything she says to repeat the complaint made in the letter to Feinstein would constitute perjury.

The complaint against Kavanaugh was initially concocted in 2012 when Mitt Romney said he would nominate Kavanaugh to the USSC if elected. The Left didn't need to use it because Romney lost the 2012 election.

When Ford wrote the letter she sent/gave to Feinstein in July she forgot the details that had been concocted in 2012. For example, in 2012 she said it was four (4) guys and in July she said it was only Kavenaugh. The person she said saved her has denied the event or anything like it happened. She also "can't recall" when it happened, where it happened, how she got to the house in question, or how she got home (she was age 15 at the time). Total crap.

The scary thing is she represents a level of disinformation planning in advance by the Left that we did not previously recognize. For example, the Left clearly investigated the potential USSC nominees to find reliable leftists who knew or might have known them in the past AND would accuse them of misconduct regardless of reality.

Forcing a supposed “victim” to testify? Pretty cruel.

Because them refusing the invitations says more about the credibility of their allegations.

It says far more than having them spend hours stumbling, fumbling, and backpeadling on the allegations.

He's taking the legal and constitutional approach: "If you want to press charges, then come forward. We will hear your testimony

But we won't compel you by force to press charges."

This allows them to protect their private lives. I can't think of a single case were alleged victims have been forced to press charges.

Source(s): The same reason people here tend to ask people to cite their claims instead of launching into an extended refutation.

It's time to vote. No more stalling, requests for paperwork, etc.

Or Mark Judge? They don't want to know the truth.

Because that's the last thing he wants.
