Clutch will not disengage cannot push in at all?
My 94 Ford Ranger V6 4.0 2 wheel drive clutch will not disengage I'm hoping it's just the clutch master cylinder but I do not know how to diagnose if it's the master or the slave

Open the bleeder, if fluid comes out when you push the pedal, it's not the master cylinder. Put a hose on and let the fluid go into a container, you don't want the fluid to get on anything. It's pesky to clean up.

There are a few things that can cause a clutch pedal not to push, the most common of which is the fluid line going down to the slave cylinder has become detached. Look under the vehicle and check to see if the line is still attached to the slave cylinder (Left side of clutch housing). If the line is still connected at both ends, I'm afraid it's time to seek professional help, as the problem may be folded seals in either cylinder, or a clutch assembly that has failed completely.

Get under the vehicle and see if the slave cylinder boot is wet. The slave cylinders usually leak first.

There goes your weekend. Yeah, check those cylinders. There probably isn't enough fluid in the system to operate the clutch.

Look closely for fluid leaks. Even slight weeping means a defective component.
