A bit of fisticuffs is a better way to solve emotional differences than bashing each other over the head with sticks or kicking each other with sharp skates. BTW I didn't say it was a good way to solve issues, just better. I don't really support fighting in hockey but mostly it is between willing combatants, there are referees, and like I said it is better than the alternatives. Hockey is tough game, and that's the way we Canadians like it.
