I would like to believe in an earthly paradise where people live forever, but isn’t that too good to be true?

Absolutely not, it was God's original purpose, and it still is.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.

You'll live until you die. Forever is subjective.

I know it can seem ridiculous when you consider it using a 21st century mind jaded by today's society. But for centuries the message of the Holy Bible has been passed down from generation to generation. Kingdoms, countries, societies have all come and gone over the course of history yet the message of God and The Holy Bible remains.

If you need more convincing, try searching YouTube for "Near Death Experience" (or NDE). If you watch enough testimonials from people who experienced it - and there are MANY - you'll come to see a lot of similarities. Many of these people weren't die-hard believers - but rather many were either "on the fence" about their belief, or else they did not consider themselves believers at all. Yet they saw a vision of heaven and none wanted to return from it.

Need MORE convincing? Try researching any number of paranormal "ghost hunter" groups...you'll find many started out just trying to see if ghosts/hauntings are real, but they instead came to discover that this whole business about Angels and Demons is actually quite real. Again, this is not an isolated phenomena....do some research.

Bottom line: I believe heaven is real because the Holy Bible says it is....and there is even some compelling evidence to support it if you do some searching....and frankly, nobody has every provided any alternatives that convince me otherwise.

It's the absolute truth if you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior.

That depends. Medical scientists are convinced there's no need to died of what we know as old age. In fact, there's no such thing as dying of old age. There are always complications. If we could fix those, there would be no death.

Not according to the Bible. It seems too good to be true only because mankind has known the bad for so many centuries. God created the earth and told mankind to fill it with righteous men and women who would care for its plant and animal life and preserve its beauty instead of destroying it. (See pages 12 and 17.) Rather than that promised Paradise being too good to be true, the present sorrowful state is too bad to continue. Paradise will replace it.

Faith in these promises is not a matter of credulity. “Faith follows the thing heard.” By studying God’s Word, its wisdom becomes apparent and faith grows.—Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1.
