Is paris bad for pick pocketing? Like would a simple backpack keep my things safe?

yes paris has a lot of pick pockets. they steal anything and they are great at it, my friend got her big *** camera stolen right out her pocket and ive been targeted but im too smart for them. yeah a backpack is good. but wear it in the front not the back because if you wear it in the back the pick pockets will open it and you wont ever notice so wear it in the front of you so you can see if anyone tries to open it.

I’ve only been to Paris for a short time before heading to Nice. I had no problem in Paris, Nice...i didn’t carry any cash on me i spent most of my time on the beach
