Help with laptop screen display?
My kitty cats were playing on my laptop computer. Somehow they hit some strange key or combination of keys. Now the screen display has rotated 90 degrees to the left & is very tricky for me to read. Any idea what they hit & how to get my screen display to be upright again?

Give this a try: Rotate Screen with a Keyboard Shortcut
Hit CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow and your Windows desktop should return to landscape mode. You can rotate the screen to portrait or upside-down landscape, by hitting CTRL + ALT + Left Arrow, Right Arrow or Down arrow.

There might be an icon on the system tray (in windows, lower right hand corner) for your display settings. Screen rotation should be there.
If you can't find it, see Control Panel-Display.

Change your laptop screen from vertical to horizontal.
Step 1
Hold down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys and press the "Left Arrow" key. This will rotate your laptop screen view. Return to the standard screen orientation by holding down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys together and pressing the "Up Arrow" key. If you were unable to rotate your screen with "Ctrl + Alt + Left," go to step 2.
Step 2
Right-click on the laptop's desktop and select "Personalize."
Step 3
Find the "See Also" menu on the left side of the screen and click "Display.

i'm not sure how to fix this, but for future reference don't let your cats play on your laptop even if it is cute. they could end up accidentally deleting something from hitting keys.
