Calling ANYONE 25 to 30 times a day is a problem. Doesn't your partner have any kind of life? How can he be calling her every 1/2 hour or so. His ex must really find that annoying, unless they are not "ex".

Assuming the first x mean "ex" and the second x means "times"; and that "25 30" means "around 25 to 30"; then I don't think "ex" means to your partner what you think it means to you.
It bothers you. That much is clear. You and your partner should talk about this.
Besides, what is this "call" stuff? I thought everyone texted these days!
