Im looking for an old horror movie in which a woman is mauled by a dog?

So when i was young i was watch cujo and this other horror movie that terrified me of dogs. I re watched cujo thing it was this movie but i dont see the scene that i remember.

In this movie a woman who was some kind of antagonist like a psycho or a murderer was chasing someone and a dog seemingly mauls her to death, only to find out later that she survived and had a huge wound.

Idk if this detail is relavant or even real but i think she had really good grip strength or something. Like she open a jar of pickles or some **** lol idk. Disregard this last detail if you know what movie im talking about. Thanks in advanced guys.
