I believe it should be. There is no legitimate reason for a security clearance to be allowed to remain in effect after leaving the job for which it was issued.
In all industries a security pass is blocked immediately when leaving or changing jobs. If a person switched jobs but remains an employee the pass is altered to allow access to areas where the employ needs clearance and to no other areas.

Not necessarily in all cases. At some points in time persons who have left the service of the country are called in to advise the current administration and that requires they have a security clearance.
Granted, Hillary's should have been withdrawn, but it was not at the time.

Clinton's clearance should have been revoked for cause years ago.

Democrats are too unstable to have security clearance.

Yes unless the current administration has good reasons to allow it. Not sure that there could be a very good reason though
