I was denied a loan and the reason stated that it had nothing to do with what was obtained in my credit report.. what could the reason be?

    In most cases, you have to be 21 and employed full time for 24 months.

    In the event that you are turned down regarding credit, they need to disclose to you why. That it had nothing to do with your credit report isn't a reason.

    What were the exact words in the denial letter? "It has nothing to do with _______" is nott a plausible thing to put in the letter.

    Insufficient income or job duration.

    Insufficient income; too-short employment history; inadequate down payment plus reserves.

    You income may be too low or you have no assets of value the bank can take if you don't pay.

    You might have good credit, but already have all the debt your incoes can support. ASK them why.
