Can I get an STD ?
My boyfriend and I have been together since high school . I’ve only sleept with him & he says I was his first also . He states he’s only slept with me as well . However I went to my annual Pap smear & I mention to the doc , I have been having foul smelling discharge . She proceeds to tell me I have an std . I told her that’s not possible , since we have only had sex with each other . Does that mean he cheated on me. Idk ?!

It is not possible for two people who don't have an STD (aka not having sex before ) to create an STD. However, just because someone is a virgin doesnt mean they dont have any STD'S. STDs are not only contracted through genital contact

Bacterial vaginosis is transmitted sexually. He might not have cheated on you. But you should never believe someone when they say they are a virgin. ALWAYS use a condom unless you are in a committed, mature, monogamous relationship.

Did she really say that you have an STD?
Or just an infection?
Usually this type of discharge is caused by a yeast infection or a bacterial infection.
Those are not sexually transmitted.

That's some dumb doctor.
That is not how you get diagnosed with an STD, you need to have tests done. Did they even say which STD it is?
I very much doubt this was caused by an STD.
