Typically, if the film is a sequel, then the film's subtitle would reveal the possible plot of the film, creating fan speculation.
I'm guessing Disney has special announcement plans for Avengers 4, and they don't want it ruined by the statements from their actors.

Because the title of the movie, as I've learned is "The Avengers: Iron Man Dies, Thor Dies, the Vision Comes Back and Marries the Scarlet Witch, the Black Widow Lives, Hawkeye Dies, Spider-Man Returns, Dr. Strange Comes Back from the Dead, Captain America Dies, All of the Guardians Come Back to Life, the Hulk Lives, the Black Panther Returns to Life, the Rest of the 2nd String Avengers All Come Back Thinking They're Going to Get Their Own Movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp Save the Day...and Oh Yeah, Thanos Dies."
