I want a device that allows me to hangup a phone call via a remote?

where i work the receptionist is constantly calling banks friends partner whatever for ages then and when clients come in she keeps getting up and moving making the security do her job. im trying to find a battery operated unit that goes between the phone and the socket that i can press a button and kill the call

    There is no device that you can simply connect that will perform such a function.

    One could be designed and custom-made by a knowledgeable person.

    As for finding that person, you are on your own.

    A device is not the answer. If training and employee counselling don't improve her performance, replace her.
