There was a Rabbi who said it started with Abraham, but I disagree. Noah was blameless when nobody else was. His great act of kindness was keeping the human race alive, along with the other animals.

No. They were just imperfect humans like you and me. They were closer to the perfection that God gave Adam and Eve, a fact that helped them to live longer than we do, but they were still imperfect.
Noah was born only 126 years after Adam’s death.
God is in the process of developing a "better" human race right at this time. He is teaching people how to live in a manner that he approves. Soon he will have this wicked system of things destroyed and these ones will be able to grow to human perfection and live forever on a restored paradise. (Psalm 37:9-11, 29)

No. The entire story of Noah is a myth. Apart from the fact that such a flood is impossible and there is no evidence to support it, it is strange that the Chinese, who were living and recording at the alleged time, didn't seem to notice it.
