She's not homophobic. She's lesbian. She made love to Mary and conceived Jesus. You can't really get less homophobic than that.

God is not homophobic nor gay loving. god is a made up idea to control the uneducated masses. Let it go. Go meet people who are not religious. It will take a lot of pressure off your back.

Leviticus expressed the opinion he believed gays were sinners but it is his opinion and not the word of god. It is the church that says god hates and will punish gays, God and Jesus say to love everyone. It is the church that says love everyone who is as perfect as us which I laugh at as churches are the worst for gay sex and for paedophiles. Gay men used to hide in the church becoming priests and clergy so they had an excuse not to marry and not be seen as gay or paedophiles. It didn't seem that they were worried about god's wrath about them being gay but they stood at the pulpit and told their followers that god would not allow them into heaven if they were gay.

Actually it depends on what religion and which denomination of it you are talking about.

If we are talking about Christianity- there are many lgbt friendly denominations. Christianity is not a universal block - it is made up of denominations- each with their own interpretations. Take a pro lgbt bible study course. Go visit notalllikethat.org or soulforce.org.

You see my friend - many lgbt come to terms with our selves with the HELP of God. Many lgbt are very spiritual. I have had gay, lesbian and trans pastors.
