I grew up a Cowboy fan, and lived through their successes and failures since the mid 70's. I lost interest in football after Dallas won their last Super Bowl. Watching Jimmy Johnson rebuild the Cowboys was fun to watch. But, he and a handful of people built those teams--and Johnson was the mastermind who recognized talent, either drafted or through free agency.
The Cowboys since then have imploded with most of their personnel moves, especially with their head coaches. Owner Jerry Jones just took over as "final say" general manager, and he, more than anyone else, should be blamed for the Cowboys' demise. He refuses to get rid of Jason Garrett--why?--because he would have to eat sh*t for making Garrett a personal choice as head coach, and saying he could win a Super Bowl with him.
I don't like seeing any team struggle, but the NFL is full of teams that just don't progress, and stay mediocre while the same teams of late win or just get better. Dallas has made some good moves, but it's been one mistake after the other the last two years, and they just can't get better than 8-8. Jerry Jones just needs to hire a general manager and let that person run the team. Only then will he be able to bring in a good coach or an established coordinator, who doesn't have to worry about getting Jones' final say on how to run the team.

As it's been mentioned many times before...The Dallas Cowboys are America's Team because America loves to watch them lose, and see Jerry Jones soil his diaper.

Is it not time for the people now to actually feel sorry for the Dallas Cowboys? Well Hell, those who find pleasure from their recent setbacks are possibly the ones who would be absolute blissful if Queen Hillary had been elected and then believe they would be prancing in a garden of paradise. NOT!
