How do I buy things I need for a week?
I lost my wallet and cancelled my debit card. I found the wallet the next day in my house. Now I have no debit card or cash because I usually only carried the card. My car is low on gas. Can I go to the bank and get it out or do I have to wait 7-10 days...?

Go to the bank. They will be able to give you cash as long as you can identify yourself satisfactorily. I've even managed to do this for a small amount when one day I went to work without my wallet so I couldn't buy lunch. Fortunately I can remember my account number (you have it on your old card), my signature matched, I could answer a few security questions they asked, and that was fine.
Your only problem, really, is that your card no longer works. Your account is still usable in every other way. You just have to go into the bank to get anything done.

Yes, you can walk into the bank with proper ID, and withdraw cash. By the way, they say 7-10 days to replace the card, but in my experience, the new one comes in 2-3 days.

If they bank is open, you should be able to withdraw cash at the counter.
Some banks allow you to register the app on your phone to make withdraws from an ATM without the card. I don't know it that is available when the card has been reported lost.

You can go to the bank. Take ID with you to verify yourself.
When you go in, explain the situation.
