Isn’t this how covid started?! ?

There’s a mysterious illness in India that hospitalized 500 people, however many have recovered within 4 days, 1 person died. It causes nausea, seizures, anxiety and even passing out. Is this going to be another pandemic? I cannot mentally handle another lockdown but I swear this is how covid started. They discovered a mysterious illness...

Could it be something they ate? Sources say their water isn’t contaminated. I just don’t want to go through another year of not seeing loved ones.

  • What should I do!?

I have received A’s my first couple of semesters in my courses.

I have gotten a few C’s and a few B’s throughout my four years of college.

I am 5 courses from graduating with my bachelors.

I am retaking my statistics (I dropped it the first time because my mom was sick and I was struggling with the course). Well, I got a head injury and now I’m a week behind. I have a 65% in the course right now. If it matters, I am in the very beginning of the semester.

Should I keep going? I really don’t want to drop it again unless I absolutely have to.

Let’s say I do fail it.

    Can I still get fasfa?

How bad will it tank my GPA?

This course is super difficult. I need it to graduate though. I spent the whole day today basically trying to catch up and understand the material.

  • Anyone concerned about the corona virus ? ?

I’m 22 years old. I do have prehypertension (at risk for high blood pressure). I try not to eat too much salt and the readings are good however, I’m a college student and cannot always afford to eat healthy. I’m scared of the corona virus coming to Pennsylvania. Is there anything I can do or am I doomed because of my high blood pressure?

  • Grieving? ?

My mom has terminal cancer & was told she would pass in a week or less. I have never experienced a loss & I am not taking it well. I am considering taking a semester off from college but I am not sure if I can since my semester already started.

    Two questions

    1. What would you personally do in my situation?

    2. Am I a quitter if I do take the semester off?

I’m also having panic attacks badly again. My Zoloft has controlled it very well until this point.

  • Did I make the right choice in dropping?!?

I had a 57% in my statistics course, so I dropped it. I needed a 60% to pass but I felt like that’s still going to look like I’m slacking in an employers eyes. Since I dropped it, I will loose my funding for a semester. However, it would have been hard to raise my gpa.

Has anyone else had to do this?

    Did you get your degree?

Do I have any other ways to pay being part time? (10 credits)

  • Should I be concerned?

So my boyfriends exes kid goes to my kids school and he says hi to her (I’m not there when he picks her up). I said I don’t like it because it’s an ex for a reason. I know I can get jealous too much sometimes. Am I overreacting...?

  • How do I avoid mosquito bites?

I just read that people are dying from mosquitos. I always get bit up even when using those candles. Also, do I need to wear but spray all the time since they can get indoors?

Tell me I’m not the only one freaked out by this ...

  • Ovarian cysts?

I’ve been having pain on my left side especially during urination. It’s been going on for a week already. I went to the hospital and they said it’s a cyst and to take pain pills. Will it go away on its own or?? What treatments are available? I’m a college student and would prefer not to miss class because of surgery. How long does it take to recover if it were to get too big?

  • What’s low in sodium and cheap?

I’m in college. I just got diagnosed with high blood pressure and was told to limit my sodium. My issue is I don’t have a ton of money. I haven’t eaten an actual meal in about a week. I eat oranges, a salad etc. These things do not fill me up. What things can I eat that are low in salt, cheap and filling? I’m having anxiety about this due to my age and the fact that EVERYTHING HAS SALT.

  • Do I need the four year degree?

I’m struggling to pay for my four year degree. I have my associates degree already. My classes are harder now. I am back to having my panic attacks which is what happened when I did college before. Don’t tell me to try medication because it won’t work. I have a job but it’s not going to pay to finish my degree because I’m part time. If I work full time it’ll add to my stress. Two questions

    1. Is it normal to feel stressed in college and how do I wind down?

    2. Should I continue or can I survive with an associates degree?

  • Will he stop spraying or is it too late...?!?

I have a male cat (I always owned females).

I don’t wanna hear judgements because I didn’t know males had to be fixed before a year (he’s 10 months old). Now he’s spraying. I got him in to the vet right away and they have him due for surgery in two weeks. The vet said he may still continue to spray. Nobody wants a cat spraying in their house ... I have him in a separate room with food, water, litter and a wipe off pet hut but I don’t wanna continue to do that forever (that’s not fair to him..) I would make him outside but the winters are too cold... is there a way to stop the spraying habit?! Is it the same concept if a cat is peeing or is there no hope ?

  • What degree do you have?

    What degree do you have?

    What major is it in?

How much do you make yearly?

How much debt did you have when you finished?

I want to make sure my degree is not being wasted. I heard so many people getting bachelors then making 7-9 an hour.

  • Cannot give a two weeks notice?

Okay I am in college part time and work part time making minimum wage. I just got offered a job making two dollars more an hour with a more flexible schedule. My current job is alright but the management isn’t really nice. The new job wants me to start right away. What should I do? I have school, a kid... so it’s going to be very hard to work two jobs. This is the first job that I could not give a notice to.

  • What do I do?

I have a second interview on Skype for a company. Problem is all the options are on the days/nights I have to work. This job pays more and is something I would like. Right now I’m working at a dollar store making minimum wage. My boss is not understanding and their already short on people. I have to give a three week notice to take a day off by then the job would be gone. What should I do?

  • How do I buy things I need for a week?

I lost my wallet and cancelled my debit card. I found the wallet the next day in my house. Now I have no debit card or cash because I usually only carried the card. My car is low on gas. Can I go to the bank and get it out or do I have to wait 7-10 days...?

  • Anxiety issues Someone help ..?

I am a 20 year old. I don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t do drugs. I’m on 50 mg of Zoloft. I STILL had a panic attack yesterday (it was my second day of a new job. I have never worked in retail, only in an office. This is a new experience) I tried to use this “calming” lotion and it did nothing except give me a headache? Why do I keep getting panic attacks. I’ve tried seeing my doc several times so please don’t tell me to do that. My dad says I just need to control it, how? If anyone has struggled with panic attacks, please help.

  • Scared of being written up?

I started a new job today. Well the co worker says that the one manager likes to write people up if you get too many people in line and you don’t call for backup. Sometimes it’s three or more and sometimes it’s two or more. I do not want my work record ruined.. that to me just seems like something so small to write someone up for. Does anyone have any advice at all?

  • Is it worth it to get a business Administration degree?

I have a business management degree (associates) and could not find a job. The only job I found was filing and Climbing ladders. I was making 11 an hour but I need more money to support my family. Is it a good idea to get a bachelors in business or is it going to be the same result as the associates degree in business?
