Grieving? ?

My mom has terminal cancer & was told she would pass in a week or less. I have never experienced a loss & I am not taking it well. I am considering taking a semester off from college but I am not sure if I can since my semester already started.

Two questions

1. What would you personally do in my situation?

2. Am I a quitter if I do take the semester off?

I’m also having panic attacks badly again. My Zoloft has controlled it very well until this point.

Not having anything to do is not good for your mental health.

Think about what your mom would think if you do quit?  Would she approve or would she want you to go on?

Sorry about your situation but you must keep going. Staying home and grieving every day is bad for anyone. Mom would want you to carry on with your life.
