Did I make the right choice in dropping?!?

I had a 57% in my statistics course, so I dropped it. I needed a 60% to pass but I felt like that’s still going to look like I’m slacking in an employers eyes. Since I dropped it, I will loose my funding for a semester. However, it would have been hard to raise my gpa.

Has anyone else had to do this?

Did you get your degree?

Do I have any other ways to pay being part time? (10 credits)

What does this have to do with personal finance?

Unless the student drops in the first week of the class, drops at many universities show up on the transcript as a withdrawal which looks just as lazy IMO.   Universities are onto this little game of dropping classes because students aren't doing well.

I've never had an employer want to look at my transcript.

I would have stayed in the class, passed, kept my funding and not lengthen the time it will take to get my degree.

An Employer is not interested in a 3% drop. They are interviewing you to see if you can do the job. They are not interested in your exam results.
