Are goths extinct?

I don't see or hear about many gothic people anymore. Obviously there's still some somewhere around the world, but is goth culture less popular now?

    I think they turned into modern day Europeans.

    Like any culture, it's just broken down into smaller parts as the population goes up. There are ggoths around, they just don't call themselves goths as much.
