Why do Catholics (Satanists) use Ephesians 2:8-9 to support Faith Alone?

The CC does not teach faith alone.

The apostles strived to bring people to Christ. After our obedience to God, it is true that salvation is only through the atonement of Christ. This is an important doctrine. Christ taught in a many ways that we must be obedient and willing to sacrifice in order to receive salvation. This is difficult to miss.

Salvation is and always has been through:

1. Faith or trust in Christ and His atonement leading to -

2. Repentance or turning from the lusts of the world to faithfulness to Christ

3. A covenant with God to always remember and follow Christ, symbolized by baptism

4. Receipt of the Holy Ghost by the faithful. The Holy Ghost teaches us and purifies our motives over time if we are trying. This is what it means to be born of the spirit.

Before Christs atonement, animal sacrifices were performed as a way to symbolically look forward to Christ. After the atonement was made, members of the church remember Christ through the ordinance of the sacrament or communion.

James 2:24 has "faith only" but preceded by "not by".
