do you like Ben Shapiro and why?

I personally don't like him very much (or at least his public persona, because I don't know him as a person). He comes off as a cerebral narcissist, and I think he's way more stubborn and close-minded than a person who regularly engages in debates should be. He's very fixed on the republican position.

He talks very quickly, which at a first glance makes him seem very sharp and smart, but when you actually slow him down and analyze what he's saying you'll find he hyperbolizes a lot to make his points, which is intellectually dishonest.

He also often says "facts don't care about feelings" as if feelings are a primitive thing and he's intellectually above it all, but in any civilized society the feelings of the average person count very must towards quality of life. Countries that are more developed often lean towards socialism, whereas countries that are less developed have a more "dog eat dog" system.

To his credit, to me he does seem to actually believe everything he's saying. He's not just a bs artist looking to serve his own needs. But just because someone is stubborn and holds conviction does not make them right.

Yeah, he's not bad. I'm fairly liberal, but I agree with much of what he says. I appreciate his no-nonsense delivery, and especially like that he's not just out to shock or upset people.
