How do you know which news is fake news and which one isn't?

They all claim to tell the truth and they claim that the other channels are fake news. I've noticed that news is no longer neutral or impartial anymore, they have taken one side or the other, and that all of the news they report is against the other side and they say nothing about the evils of their own side. Fox News says little about the evils of the conservatives or the Republicans, just how evil the Democrats are, or CNN or Ring of Fire, just talk about how evil Donald Trump and the Republicans are. and on and one. So since they all claim to tell the truth but they all disagree about what the truth is, how do you know who is telling the truth?

They all claim to TELL THE TRUTH and they may be CORRECT.

BUT did they TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

    That is the ULTIMATE TEST.

Use your common sense. That is you own practical life experience should give you a basis for understanding news reports and news opinion. A decent memory of past news events should provide a connection to current events and from that the various options to consider.

When I see a story I am interested in or concerned about I get news from both the Left and Right on TV but then I will look for articles on the internet , ideally from freelance journalists or at least foreign journalists not working for the DNC .

By following the details common to a variety of sources , one can sort of conclude what's fake , real or misrepresented .

Check facts for yourself. CNN and World News with David Miur is your best bet, they have actual fact checkers.

I gather information from multiple sources and then try to figure out where the truth lies.

Well video doesn't lie, so there's that. (Unless of course it's Fox news showing one thing and saying it's something else like the do all the time).
