How were Australia's international relations affected by WW1?

I would say that Australia joining so early in WW1 gave Australia extra credibility as before then Australia was likely seen as just a small colony on the other side of the world with no power. Australians proved themselves as formidable warriors in places like Egypt, Gallipoli, the cavalry charge at Beersheba where they managed to easily take the city in a couple hours, and then went into the trenches and aircraft on the western front.
I know several Asian countries also fought in the trenches such as Indians and Thais. Apparently the Thai government gained a lot of favour from the Allied countries for sending about 900 troops to fight in the trenches on the western front. Even Japanese sent warships to help guard allied shipping during WW1 although the Allies refused to actually let them fight in battles.
