It’s not recommended. Ideally people with curly hair are advised to wash their hair every 5 days or so

That's your call. Depends on your lifestyle and how much oil is pouring from the scalp. I wash my wavy hair daily; no issues. I also do not have any sort of ethnic hair.

I mean, I suppose. I've run into very few people with all kinds of hair that have to wash it every single day, however. It's really not the best thing for your hair and scalp to wash it every day.
