I though if you pay off old debt it will improve your credit but 2 of my bill that is still on my credit after paying it off what do I do

It stays on your credit report for 7 years it just updates from delinquent to paid

It takes a billing cycle or two for paid off debt to show on credit history.

If the information they show is wrong, contact the credit reporting agency and get it straightened out. If you finally paid off a debt late, this will continue to show up for a while. It is, literally, your credit history. You improve your score over time by paying your debts on time in the forseeable future.

You wait. Your credit will improve but it's not going to improve overnight.

Do they show as paid off, if not send proof to the credit bureau & request the fix the problem.

Your credit score might improve slowly, but it will still show on your credit report for 7 years. Nothing more you can do.
