There is no proof God exists.

Why does anyone have to believe as you were taught to believe? Why can't people have freedom of thought and accept or not accept the man made religious teachings you refer to? Religions developed from superstitions that were used to explain the unexplained. They were embellished and developed over millennia into complex practices that evolved into organized religions. But are still based on man made myths.

The central operating principle of modern science is that the physical realm is the basis of objective reality. This is completely unlike philosophical religion, which purports that a nonphysical Deity magically willed, or spoke, the world into existence. The two worldviews, scientific and philosophical, are diametrically opposed and no practicing scientist is going to discard legitimate verifiable knowledge for the sake of imaginary unsubstantiated beliefs.
Personally, I'm a retired electronics engineer and I've spent my career using physical laws and mathematics to predict the behavior of the devices I've engineered. Except for the occasional human error, the calculations have worked correctly every single time, which clearly indicates that electricity depends on the interactions of atoms and molecules of matter with an excess of electrons transferring electric charge from place to place. There is much more to it, but it is painfully clear that, independent of legitimate physical forces, thoughts and perceptions alone have no direct influence on objective reality. The ancient Greek philosophers and Roman theologians were completely wrong about how they imagined reality works -- an important fact humanity has known for 377 years -- since Rene Descartes was the first to correctly explain the difference between subjective mental experience and objective physical reality. On the one hand, religion purports that subjective mental experiences are the basis of reality, while on the other hand, science expects only the objective physical realm can actually be real.
The solution to this dichotomy is to understand that objective physical reality actually does exist while also knowing that our mental experiences are actually unreal mental abstractions created within our subjective mind by our own living brain. In other words, contrary to Christian philosophical dogma, our subjective mental experiences are NOT an actual part of reality, which is why prayer is completely absurd. The truth is, within our subjective mind we can only imagine what we think is real -- an essential fact the ancient philosophers and theologians completely overlooked.

The reason is that you refuse to provide the testable evidence that convinced "you" of the existence of a deity.
Scientists like testable evidence and proper logic. There is none for a deity or any other magical beings.

Ha! Because it's not true. Now I have got a question for you. Why are the great Christian scientists that Christians like to bring up not able to prove that everything was created by a god especially when it' their claim one does in fact exists? It shouldn't take too much probing to see if one in fact exists. Especially if this god is all knowing and all seeing certainly able to communicate what's going on?
Do not tell me a god invented life when astrophysicist have in their hand's trace molecules that proves humans are composed of the same elements found in stardust as a result of the BB, may not be conclusive as to how it all came together but certainly more evidence goes towards confirming the BB theory than what you have in evidence of a god saying "Let there be".
It's always a "how it's done to anything" and none of those hows it's dones are linked to a god. If there was a god it would be some way that it's done that elements of this whole universe out of nothing would just come together when he says "Let there be" science will never be able to prove that nor religion because it's not possible and everytime they find these elements and theories formed from the data goes even further to show you it was no one saying "Let there be" to bring it all forth.

Because gods cannot be observed or experimented upon. Science deals with the real, observable, testable NATURAL world. Gods are by nature SUPERnatural, AKA nonexistent.
No scientific advancement has been made by the answer "goddidit".

Because a scientist works with verifiable things. In the same way that I can't poop golden eggs, you cannot objectively verify that there is a God so therefore scientists do not fit into your preposterous question.

How could they keep getting (self-policed) grants from your tax dollars for their 'so-called' research if they admitted that?
A quick search of your federal government website will show you where your taxes are being wasted...
BILLIONS every year... going into their pockets.
Trust me... it's a house of cards that is coming down very soon.
