Why do Jehovah's witnesses take pride in preaching about the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 5:5 and 2 Peter 3:13?

Proverbs 16:18

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 11:2

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom

Proverbs 13:10

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

Proverbs 29:23

A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

    To be a JW REQUIRES the misinterpretation or ignoring of certain bible verses!

    JWs have refined their ability to misinterpret and ignore such verses to a very high standard!

    All religions are technically cults and all cults get to make their own rules. This must be a big one in their cult.
